Hi!
I'm a customer-centric Researcher and Service Designer, holding a master's degree in Design for Interaction (Delft University of Technology).
I am passionate about user-centric research and design, and developing creative methods and approaches to do so. The findings and insights, I translate into compelling designs and strategies to create a complete overview.
I’m honest, transparent, inclusive, and proactive. And I grab every opportunity to explore, learn, and grow. A miscommunication led to me diving into cultural differences and the potential impact it has on collaboration. A design sprint with unhappy colleagues, led me to dive into the world of facilitation, and together with my colleagues understand what is needed to be an impactful part of a sprint as a team member. And resistance to changes proposed by me as team lead, pushed me to take a leadership course and further change management courses to better understand reasons for resistance and how to overcome or prevent these.
After graduation, I worked as a user experience consultant at Mixit, focussing on digital workplace design. I realised that creating the 'complete' picture is my strength - following holistic approaches.
Thereafter, I joined Deloitte as a Service Designer with the focus on Employee Experience. At Deloitte I was constantly mapping activities of employees, combined with identified pains, gains and tasks.
Then, I worked at the Swiss Marketplace Group (formerly known as TX Markets, part of TX Group) in Zurich as a UX Research lead / senior Service Designer.

New in Switzerland, I enjoy the nature. Running, hiking, and swimming (when the sun is out), are my meditation. Like a real Dutch person, I enjoy to just get lost on my racing-bike or on roller-skates, and explore the (hopefully flatter parts of the) environment.
When I’m not outside, you can probably find me baking bread (or at least trying to keep the sourdough alive), organising dinner parties, working out at the gym, practising yoga, cuddling cats, or expressing a moment of creativity on paper or on a canvas.
